- Cnuaschruinniú 1:Tá Cnuaschruinniú 1 ar fáil trí Ghaeilge de réir Féilire do Cnuaschruinnithe 2023.2024 .
- CM 1 (Béarla): Caithfidh na MNCanna ar fad clárú anseo ar dtús agus ansin CM 1 a chur in áirithe in Ionad Tacaíochta Oideachais dá rogha féin.

Cnuaschruinniú 2 Trí Gaeilge
Tabhair faoi deara go bhfuil Cnuaschruinniú 2 (CC 2) ar fáil trí Ghaeilge. De réir an Droichead Féilire do Cnuaschruinnithe, beidh CC 2 ar fáil ar an Déardaoin 18ú Aibreáin. Má tá suim agat freastal ar Chnuaschruinniú 2 (CC 2), téigh thíos chuig an tseachtain 15ú Aibreáin chun clárú.
Chnuaschruinniú 2
Tá na cnuaschruinnithe riachtanach do MNCanna atá ag gabháil don phróiseas Droichead agus cuirtear ar fáil iad sa chohórt múinteoirí seo.
Le linn Chnuaschruinniú 2, glacann na MNCanna páirt i gcleachtas machnamhach agus i bplé faoina dturas leanúnach Droichead, agus roinneann siad léargais agus eispéiris foghlama luachmhara lena bpiaraí.
I measc na noideolaíochtaí a ndéantar iniúchadh orthu tá modheolaíochtaí éifeachtacha agus straitéisí cuí le haghaidh bainistíocht ranga, bainistíocht iompraíochta agus idirdhealaithe.

- Please note that Cluster Meeting 1 (Cnuaschruinniú 1) is offered in Irish, as per the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar.
- NQTs must apply for Droichead via the ‘My Registration’ portal on www.teachingcouncil.ie and receive a confirmation email from the Teaching Council prior to registering for Cluster Meeting 1 (CM 1). NQTs who attend a cluster meeting without a confirmation email will not receive a Certificate of Completion.
- NQTs are required to attend one cluster meeting (specific to their route of registration i.e. primary or post-primary) per term in sequential order for the duration of their Droichead process.
- CM 1: All NQTs must first register here then book CM 1 in an Education Support Centre of their choice.
- Important: When booking your Cluster Meeting 1 on the Education Support Centre website of your choice, please use the same email address that you have registered on the Oide Droichead website with, so that you can receive your certificate of completion.

Cluster Meeting 2
Cluster meetings are a requirement for NQT engaging in the Droichead process and are offered to this cohort of teachers only.
During Cluster Meeting 2, NQTs engage in reflective practice and discussions about their ongoing Droichead journey, sharing valuable insights and learning experiences with their peers.
Effective methodologies and appropriate strategies for classroom management, behaviour management and differentiation are among some of the pedagogies explored.
Please note NQTs must have completed Cluster Meeting 1 before attending other cluster meetings.
Cluster Meeting 3
Cluster meetings are a requirement for NQTs engaging in the Droichead process and are offered to this cohort of teachers only.
Cluster Meeting 3 explores the concept of life-long learning as NQTs progress from Droichead to Cosán. It also provides a forum for NQTs to share strategies and tips they use to support their own wellbeing and maintain a sustainable work-life balance.
Please note NQTs must have completed Cluster Meeting 1 and Cluster Meeting 2 before attending Cluster Meeting 3.
CM 2 and CM 3: Specific dates and times of online CMs will be available below in Terms 2 and 3.

Beidh Cnuaschruinnithe ar fáil de réir an Fhéilire Cnuaschruinnithe. Mar atá leagtha amach sa cháipéis Chnuascruinnithe: Eolas Tábhachtach agus Prótacail Tinrimh, osclófar clárúcháin an tseachtain roimh na himeachtaí.
Amanna agus dátaí do Chnuaschruinniú 1 do Mhúinteoirí Nuacháilithe (MNCanna)
Cuirfear tús le reáchtáil Chnuaschruinniú 1 an tseachtain dar tús an 2 Deireadh Fómhair * de réir Fhéilire Chnuaschruinnithe Droichead 2023.2024 (anseo).
Is féidir le MNCanna a ghlac páirt iomlán sa CC 2 uair an chloig a nDeimhniú Críochnaithe a rochtain óna bpróifíl úsáideora laistigh de 10 lá oibre ó fhreastal ar an gcnuaschruinniú. Tabhair faoi deara le do thoil nach bhfuil an rogha seo ar fáil ach amháin tar éis do fhreastal ar do chnuaschruinniú a bheith deimhnithe ag Ionad Tacaíochta Oideachais Dhún na nGall.
Lean na céimeanna seo le do thoil:
- Logáil isteach i do chuntas le do r-phost agus do phasfhocal.
- Seiceáil go bhfuil do shonraí i gceart agus brúigh nuashonraigh.
- Ar thaobh na láimhe deise den scáileán cliceáil ar an roghchlár.

Droichead is the integrated induction process for teachers and is available to both primary and post-primary teachers.
The traditional processes of Probation, Post-qualification Employment (PQE) and the Induction Workshop Programme either have concluded or are being phased out.
It is important to note that Droichead is the only route of induction for all primary and post-primary teachers registered from 1 June 2020.

Cluster Meetings will be available as per the Cluster Meeting Calendar here. This should be read in tandem with ‘Cluster Meetings: Important Information and Attendance Protocols’ here which includes a link to register.
NQTs must apply for Droichead via www.teachingcouncil.ie and receive a confirmation email from the Teaching Council before registering for Cluster Meeting 1.
Droichead Cluster Meeting for NQTs
Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are required to attend up to three different cluster meetings for the duration of their Droichead process. Each cluster meeting is a forum where NQTs can discuss and seek clarification about the Droichead process and professional practice. NQTs are encouraged to ask questions, seek guidance, reflect upon particular challenges and share successes, ideas and experiences. Cluster meetings are facilitated by experienced Droichead Induction Associates and provide avenues of both professional and personal support to NQTs. This shared-learning approach builds professional relationships, confidence and competence. NQTs must complete their full cluster meeting requirements in line with the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar 2023.2024.
Cluster Meeting Requirements
NQTs must complete one different cluster meeting (specific to their sector, primary or post-primary) per term in sequential order for the duration of their Droichead process. NQTs must complete Cluster Meeting 1 (CM 1) before engaging in either Cluster Meeting 2 (CM 2) and/or Cluster Meeting 3 (CM 3). NQTs should not submit their online Form D until all aspects of their Droichead process, including their full cluster meeting requirements, have been fulfilled. If a Form D is received where all the cluster meeting requirements are not met, it will not be processed by the Teaching Council.
Cluster Meetings will be available as per the Cluster Meeting Calendar. As outlined in the Cluster Meetings: Important Information and Attendance Protocols document, registration will open the week before the events.
Registration for Cluster Meeting 2 and Cnuaschruinniú 2 Term 2 2023.2024
Registration for specific Cluster Meeting 2 Dates and Times for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) will open on January 3rd at 8.30am.
Cluster Meeting 2 events will commence the week beginning January 15th in line with the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar 2023.2024 (here).
Cluster Meeting 3 events will commence the week beginning April 22nd in line with the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar 2023.2024 (here).
NQTs should select and book the CM 2 that they wish to attend (via Zoom).
Please note that Cluster Meeting 2 is also offered in Irish - Cnuaschruinniú 2. As per the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar, it will be facilitated online during the week commencing 15th April. Should you wish to attend Cnuaschruinniú 2 (CC 2), please navigate to the week of the 15th April on the list below to register.
Please be assured that there will be adequate provision of cluster meetings to meet the demand in Term 2 and Term 3.
Cluster Meeting 1(CM 1)
Cluster Meeting 1 Dates and Times for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs)
CM 1 will be facilitated face-to-face in local education support centres (ESCs). CM 1 may not be available every week in each ESC. In line with the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar 2023.2024, dates and times for specific CM 1 events will be on each ESC's website. NQTs should select and book the CM 1 that they wish to attend. Please be assured that there will be adequate provision of cluster meetings to meet the demand each term.
NQTs who have engaged fully in the 2-hour CM can access their Certificate of Completion from their user profile within 10 working days of attendance at the meeting. Please note this option is only available after your cluster meeting attendance has been verified by Donegal Education Support Centre.
Please follow these steps:
- Log into your account with your e-mail and password.
- Check your details are correct and press update.
- On the right-hand side of the screen click on menu.
- Click on user menu and click on print course certificate.
- Course attendance details will be populated. To the right of the screen under CPD Event click on the word print.
- A PDF of your certificate will be generated.
